In accordance with applicable laws, D1FFER – in its capacity as a hosting provider – provides users with a visible system to report content protected by intellectual property rights that is shared on GiGa.
Select one or many files and click on “Report”.
Select “This file is violating my copyright” in the drop down menu and check the statement “..I am the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed”.
Click on the “Report” button.
Complete the “Report file” form and click on the “Report” button.
D1FFER has no technical way to open the reported file but D1FFER will examine the file name and the identity of the person making the report. If D1FFER believe the claim is legitimate, reported files will be blocked.
Blocked files cannot be shared by anyone.
If different users were sharing the same file, the file will be blocked for all users.
If a user uploads a file which has been blocked, the file remains blocked.
